Showing Signs of Saggy Drooping Skin?


Aging SkinOne of the biggest signs of aging is saggy, drooping skin. It is a natural part of the aging process, but it is one that can be quite distressing and often leads people to consider cosmetic surgery to correct the sagging skin. It can, however, be fairly easy to help ward off this natural sign of aging, just by exercising the face and neck for a few short minutes on a daily basis.  Follow a basic facial muscle exercise program and it can help keep the facial muscles taut and toned. Of course, this is not foolproof, but can certainly help keep the signs of aging at bay. Complete these facial exercises in addition to using quality anti-aging skin care products each day.

Sit upright with your eyes open. Pull the eyebrows and facial muscles up and back. It should have the affect of pulling your ears back as well. Hold to the count of five and then slowly release.  Repeat this move ten times.

Sit upright looking straight ahead with your eyes open. Look up as far as you can without moving your head. Then look down, all while keeping your head still. Repeat ten times.

Sit upright and lean your head back until you’re looking at the ceiling. Keep your shoulders and head relaxed. Pucker your lips as much as you can, as though you’re trying to kiss the ceiling. Hold for 5 seconds, then bring your lips back into the widest smile you can make. Hold this for 5 seconds. Relax, then bring your head back into an upright position. Repeat 5 times.

Finally, a simple and easy exercise is just to smile more often, the bigger, the better! Get the muscles around the mouth used to moving upwards in a smile instead of down in a frown and not only will you feel better but your muscles will be strengthened against drooping downwards.
